How We Began
The Valley Health Conference was envisioned by health advocate, Karen Esajian, RDH, after her own search for better health in the face of many health issues and the death of a loved one to breast cancer at an early age. In 1993 she formed Update On Health and organized its first events at Saint Agnes Medical Center and in her backyard. After outgrowing these first venues and later Pardini’s and the Tower Theatre, the Valley Health Conference (formerly the Valley Women’s Health Conference) will be held at the Fresno Convention Center for the first time on April 20, 2007.
